A Legal Hand is owned and operated by Linda Spain, and a small team of legal assistants and marketing/sales representatives.  Ms. Spain is a Legal Document Preparer, and currently a member of the San Antonio Greater Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Legal Document Preparers, and the American Association of Notaries.  Her previous experience in the legal profession consists of having worked several years as a legal assistant and a paralegal for various local attorneys.  After attending Texas Lutheran University, Ms. Spain served in the U.S. Army, as well as in the Texas Army National Guard.  While in the National Guard, she performed weekend and summer duties in the JAG (Judge Advocate General) Office, as a paralegal.

With over 17 years experience as a legal document preparer, Ms. Spain decided to start her own business to assist people who are in need of legal assistance, but cannot afford the high fees attorneys charge.  Or for people who simply want to represent themselves (Pro Se) in legal matters, which do not necessarily require an attorney.

We are not attorneys; therefore cannot offer any legal advice.  However, we can prepare legal documents for clients who do not wish to hire an attorney.  And the final product is the same as those created by any attorney.  We provide top quality service at low and reasonable prices, saving you hundreds of dollars.
